The iron mine located in Pınargözü village of Çetinkaya region, which is part of Sivas province's Kangal district, has become operational in 2010 and has produced an initial trial batch of 10,000 tons with a 53% Fe grade. The reserves at the site total 800,000 tons with an annual iron ore production capacity of 50,000 tons.
