The Governor’s Visit

Visiting the Kangal Coal Plant on Wednesday, September 7th, were Ali Tokat, the Governor of Sivas, İsmail Altan Demirayak, the District Governor of Kangal, and Ali Murat Taner, the National Education Director. They met with A. Kadir Ilgaz, the Deputy General Manager, Salih Aymak, the Operations Director, and our employees at the plant. Our guests first toured Kangal Anatolian High School, still under construction, to be completed by the end of year. Governor Kolat remarked that the high school’s architectural design had really impressed him. He also extended his thanks to the directors of the Koç Foundation, who built the high school. Then Governor Kolat inspected the Kangal Coal Plant with Operations Manager Salih Aymak and received a briefing on the coal mining and tree planting areas. Deputy General Manager A. Kadir Ilgaz presented a plaque to Governor Kolat as a memento of his visit. Governor Kolat also posed for a publicity photograph inside a CAT truck, whose capacity carries up to 200 tons of coal.
